MedAdapt was developed under the MedProgramme, specifically Child Projects 2.1 and the SCCF, funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme / Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP/MAP). Development was coordinated by the Priority Actions Programme / Regional Activity Centre (PAP/RAC).

MedAdapt builds upon the AdriAdapt platform, originally developed within the Interreg AdriAdapt project.
